Mom, three weeks ago you spoke to me for the last time on earth. I saw you the following day but you were unable to speak (though I could tell you knew I was there.) But I'll treasure those two hours beside your bed as I read to you and we talked- I heard your voice and saw your smile. I love you and miss you so much, Mom.
