Love going through photos of you throughout your life, getting ready for your memorial service. Especially one, taken at Christmastime and when I was in my mid-teens. It's as though you're smiling right at me. For these past ten years or so, I've had to take care of you but this brought me back in time to when I was your vulnerable young adolescent daughter and you were always there for me, no matter what. You look so happy, so full of kindness. And you were. I am so grateful that God gave me you to be my mom. Thank you for always being there for me.
