During the Holidays we would take Mom, who was in her 80s, to church and they would have in the lobby a delightful older gentleman playing Christmas songs on a baby grand piano. She would hover from afar singing the tunes as he played. I think a few times she meandered over and talked with him, maybe even sang while he played. After several years of this she finally asked us: 'Is he married?' We all smiled under our chuckles. As we walked away I think she said she sometimes would like to be married again...
